I misread 1.8 mil. Thought it was 800k.

My mistake. 1.8 mil is a lot. At that point, you pretty much need to go through everything. No telling what all it will need. Better deals are out there, for that price. A lot newer and a lot lower miles. Even with an overhaul, only adds about half the amount spent, maybe $8k to a 7k Truck. He spent twice what the Truck was worth. Typically He would need to run it a year or two before selling it to justify the cost. That’s his point of view, I’m guessing. Selling it to you, would be a windfall. Keep looking, there’s options for bad credit available. High interest 27% maybe. But if you buy the right Truck, and pay it off quick. The real interest will be much less. As long as it’s a simple compounded interest loan, with no pre payment penalty. Maybe a one year pre payment penalty. Since it will probably take longer to pay it off. That’s the best BAD advice I have to offer.
