In a different perspective, the local M&K Volvo dealer here has allocations for Volvos to be delivered in October-November 2022. The price for the standard package - not exactly bare bones, is in the neighborhood of $180 000. The ask for 10 000 non refundable deposit. I think that the over $20 000 price increase and the 10K to show that you're good for it, made it possible for the allocations to be. So, hopefully these practices of flipping for crazy amounts will be curbed to some extent, at least.

 

The cruise was never a problem for me

One of my mechanicals (b modern) had factory cruise similar to the King Cruise aftermarket set up. It actually worked pretty well. Had to have an electric speedo and tach drive though.

 

Yeah. But all the parts for new trucks come from communist China .

so you never know if they are going to be available or not .

the commies in China could bring the us economy to a standstill in a week by simply stopping sending the parts that are made in the factories that we built and paid for over there
