I'm so hyper to get started in trucking but every time i have money to get started i end up paying bills. I don't even have the $75 for the permit yet money is that tight. I need spending money too because the first couple weeks i won't get paid. So i figure i need to save at least $500

Can i fill out apps now even if i'm not ready until at least a month from now to start?

    It's too early.
Stock up on some junk food such as Ramen Noodles and instant coffee so you can get started earlier. Lots of drivers do this until they get the first paycheck.
Where are you going to school?

Yes. That's what I did. Used the first half of the month (2 weeks) as notice to my employer of departure. Last half of the month (started Friday) to cram for permit, get medical, endorsments and to organize and box-up this current chapter of my life, put it on a shelf, and focus on the next chapter (trucking) to the FULLEST. School starts on the 3rd.

Be patient enjoy the learning part. Your starting something new no need to rush anything. Get your finances together to help you. Give it some thought about what type of trucking you want to do. I hope the best for you

If you filled out apps now you would start getting calls within an hour.Wait a week before you're ready.

I would advise giving yourself enough time to deal with the unknown (hangups, delays, documents). Just in case all of your ducks don't fall in a row. Which was the case with me. Plenty of time for speed bumps.

P.S. Have been studying for 2 days solid and feel "CONFIDENT" that I can pass the tests. Will be a week ahead of schedule. Stress free. Knew it would be easy but not THIS easy. Most of it is common sense. Logic.

You should take out as many payday loans as possible, and not pay them back. Make up some name like Chong Ngoc Nguyen when you fill out the app, and list dead relatives as references. They'll never find you. Then take that money, and fund your dreams of a better life. It worked for me! No , not really, but I did defraud several payday lenders at one point. It was more like a default though. But dude, don't let anything stand in your way of being a truck driver.
