ok, i just applied for tce trucking in mn, and i also have applied for the grand loan for $7500, i need to know if i should start trucking school or quite because, i don't want to graduate and get my cdl A and not get hire by any company and left with the $7500 loan to pay.

i'm 22, i got a failed to yield ticket when i was 17, another trafic ticket like the failed to yield, but i don't remember at age 18, a speeding ticket, 25 over on 08/2009 , and then a slip on ice accident on 12/2009, when i had the accident i gave them the insurance card for my other car, and my license got suspened for that, but i did have insurance for the car that got into a accident and can prove it, i also just found out last week that my license got suspened for that, and i never knew it, so i am getting it unsuspened next week.

now tce trucking already had my apply to 3 company for the pre hire, i don't know if i will get hire or not. i want to know if i should quit or go to trucking school. i want to go to trucking school, but i got a job and don't want to quit that job either, and will only quit that job to go to trucking school if i know that i will get hire after i get my cdl A.

    thanks in advance.

I would wait until you got all of this cleared up. Just going to make it harder to find a company that will hire you. And "prehire" means nothing in the real world.

i'd wait a long time.........that 25 mph over the limit ticket will be your problem. as well as the suspensions.

Try to obtain a government job.

They pay better, and you may qualify !!!

    Good Luck !!

Get your driving record clean and quit getting tickets, you need an excellant record to drive trucks.

My 'opinion' - research. Try for Computer Technology! It's an opening up field and doesn't involve much manual labor.

Many companies have a minimum hiring age of 23, even though you one is legally able to drive interstate at 21. It is an insurance and maturity thing. With your driving record PLUS your age, you have some heavy negatives for a company to consider.

I think that $7500.00 is WAYYYY too much to pay for driving school, regardless of future employability. With the concerns that I mentioned above, I would not put myself into the position you are facing with a loan on the line.

Well you can keep guessing at it, wait for a sign from up above, or print out your MVR and start researching different companies as to what their requirements for new drivers are! Good luck!
