Should I stay or should I go?

When we first came to S TX we stayed for about a month in extended stay in San Antonio just to figure out areas as is hard to base anything off Internet. After getting to know places we moved to Beeville(originally found on CL) and saw a few really nice temp places in Corpus for reasonable. They were also temp places and one particular was a 1 berm condo with view for 750 month as it was off season, right now is season but will be approaching off season.
These areas are short on housing and wouldn't be that surprised to see Corpus the same thing as it is close to that whole formation of oilfield towns.
