HAHAHAHAHA. ROTF. I have not heard that word in 30 years.

I remember that word too. Back when the public skools got all wound up and butthurt after it was deemed they needed Ebonics so that everyone else could comprehend the talk.

Ive reached the conclusion that the English Langauge only law is lip service. And is essentially unenforceable.

As one famous TV actor said "I know nothing. Nothing I tell you."

No, the 1099 isn’t the problem

It is the deduction that is illegal.

You are not leased to a company as an owner, so there is no legal reason why you would have to contribute to a escrow account, this makes it a mess and you an employee.

As for language, you don’t have to be fluent in English, that’s bs.

What a driver is required is to be able to converse in English to the general public.

Fluency means you achieved a level beyond basic conversational skills.

Wonder where the op is from?

So how many people did it take to to reply "No" or something similar? All I know is, looking at your final number of net pay, you'll do hellified better with a W-2 company. At least you'll get the company sponsored health insurance

Well I was already skeptical given the huge number of cons I listed so I am happy I was able to run away while we could. We're from Romania.
