If you removed the filter and didn't bypass the SCR box, soot and/or coolant can contaminate the coating on it. If it's bad enough, it will throw low quality DEF codes and 5mph derate since it can't reduce outlet NOx levels enough. Check with some of the DPF cleaning places to see if they can service the SCR box. I'm not sure if it would work, but I would try it before dropping 4k on a new one.

News! Next year they building cabs booth. Like those tolls that will sniff your smog. Also they are going to authorize DOT officers to run carbs. And out of state trucks have to get checked and buy a permit. They fighting this in court. But I doubt they can stop it
