Thats....dumb. i mean i have a SD CDL and am based out of kansas for my tags and numbers on the truck and its zero issue. Was zero issue when i was a company driver too. Go over that morons head.

 

Las Vegas has plenty of non-driving jobs available to tide you over for a couple of months. Warehouse jobs with FedEx, UPS, Amazon. Might even get a good driving job with those after you convert to Nevada CDL.

 

Might get a warehouse job here, then later be a driver.

Transferring a license from state to state is no issue ( done it at least five times) , getting a restriction off , that one i don't know about .
If your current company doesn't run west of memphis , then hire on with another .
There are lots of types of driving jobs out there, once again think out of the box
