It seems to me that the subject at hand was not whether you believe or not, it was simply asked should they allow chapels in Truck Stops. Since a lot of T/S's have them then attend if you feel like and do not attend if you do not want to. I for one am not religious but I do believe in God (notice the capital G. Whether you like it or not it is a more common name than you think), I do not attend services and I tell the Chaplain at the door "No thank you" and he accepts this. In the same aspect I do not use the services of lot lizards and I do not go to porn stores but if that is your thing then go and have fun. My hard earned funds are far to important than to throw it away on that junk....only my opinion.

Don't care either way, but I do have a problem with some of the pastor, or minister or whatever faith they are from trying to get me in there. This is how it normally goes:

"Hey son would you like to come in for service?"

    "No thanks, I'm jewish."

"Did you know that Jesus died for your sins? He is the answer."

And then I give one of these answers:

"Jesus died?! Great now who is going to cut my grass while I'm gone?"

"It was a long time ago, let it go."

"I took an exam in high school, I put down Jesus for an answer I didn't know and I still got it wrong so apparently Jesus isn't the answer."

I'm all for religious freedom, but I'm not trying to slap yamacas on all of you.

I have to admire the preachers that are real, not fake ones. They hear replies like yours all the time, but still have compassion for peoples souls and still go out doing what God's word tells them no matter what kind of replies they get.

I say "No thanks." How is that caring? Its being annoying. If I am at Burger King, and they say, "Would you like fries with that?" And I say, "No thanks." They don't turn around and say, "But they're fresh and made just for you." I highly suggest you listen to this song by Cake, "Sheep goto heaven, goats goto hell."

Let me give you one more scripture to make fun of: "By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Have a good life!:biggrin_2557:

Well lets put a different light on this. If you were choking on your food at the truckstop and a paramedic walked by and asked you if you wanted help. If you gasped no, don't like doctors and he said well you will die if we don't clear your airway. Is he being annoying also or is he just concerned for your welfare?
