He got it done with this thread! LOL.
Well...kinda.
DOT Rule Allows Oral-Fluid Specimen Testing for Drugs
"The oral fluid testing window for cannabis is only up to about 24 hours; for urine testing, it’s anywhere from 3 to 67 days."
Should we be able to use cannabis on our time off?

Yup.

Pretty sure a few drinks and a bong rip would not have made the situation safer.
The point is that being sober is the bare minimumtscottme, RockinChair, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this. -
No one in this thread disagrees with that.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this.

Did you read the fine print at the bottom of the page?

The perception of this is ### backwards on this site. I’m not sure why someone shouldn’t be allowed to smoke in their free time. Everyone cites regulations still being against it, or the fact that it stays in your system for a month, but both of those are weak justifications, and quite literally hypocritical if you even drink a beer during your off time. It doesn’t surprise me though, as most regulations are ### backwards. Such as roadside testing.
The only accepted roadside tests for marijuana use can produce positive results more than a month after the person smoked or consumed it, unlike commonly used breathalyzer tests for alcohol impairment, which give a snapshot of the moment the test was conducted.
Crazy how you can smoke weed weeks ago, pop a positive test and lose your career, throwing everything out if your control.
Whats also crazy is how you can be a raging alcoholic but pass a breathalyzer simply because you don’t drink while you drive.
In that scenario, both drivers use in their off time, both drivers are sober when they take the roadside test, one of those drivers is fired, sorry but you can’t justify that any day of the week. Hope to see the day this is changed.andrewsdad, bryan21384, Gearjammin' Penguin and 2 others Thank this. -
@BillyBobFrank
1) Actually, it would not be a bad idea to also give up drinking while you or anyone has a CDL, along with not smoking dope or using any drugs whatsoever.
2) Also, it would not be a bad idea to avoid over the counter, (OTC), drugs to avoid any potential for "false" positives on a drug test.
3) This way both your mind & body are always clean & clear, along with the piece of mind that you will never have to worry about popping dirty on any drug or alcohol tests at all.
4) This alone will reduce your stress levels by a whole lot, along with helping you to keep your CDL for a long time to come, which in turn helps you to remain employable for a long time to come.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.Last edited: May 18, 2023

If you know the test are so bad that they detect your weed a month after you use, and you fail a test, I think you know why they call it dope. Dont be a dope.
