Every time. They fall back on the same statements and ideas every time. I'm really disappointed in the younger folks. No new ideas in sixty years. That's pathetic. Reminds me of a bunch of stoners sitting in a circle on the floor, passing the pipe around, and saying "Wow man" a lot because right in the middle of a statement they'd lose their train of thought and just start mumbling while they reached for another bag of Oreos.
The arguments haven't changed since about 1962 which was when I became aware of them. The main differences I see are legalization (which is turning into the punch line for a bad joke) and we've moved on from Oreos to more healthy stoner snacks.
But the arguments? Pffffft. Old wine in new bottles.kemosabi49, tscottme and PaulMinternational Thank this. -
You know Oreos just don’t taste the same anymore.

Although they are still made in a few plant in the USA, there are a lot that are made in Mexico. Check the package for the "Hecho en Mexico". The Mexican Opeos seems to be drier and more crumbly than they used to be. Don't know about the one still made in the US as we only get the Mexican ones for sale around here.

I'm gonna chime in really late, but lots of different jobs require pre employment drug screens, but companies need to start looking at those policies with all the states legalizing. Eventually it will be legalized by the feds.
Again if it can be used responsibility on your time off I feel it should be allowed. I haven't smoked in probably 20 years but from what I hear the legal stuff ain't that strong. But I would love to walk into a store and actually buy some legal stuff unlike purchasing it in the alley back in the day lol.
But I'm sure they could do ai or something in trucks to tell if you high or drunkGearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
The changing legal framework is a good point. What I am expecting to happen is a sort of insurance premium much like they do with smokers already so you will end up having to pay more for health insurance.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
It's like driving 75mph in a 55mph zone...They make the laws, we follow them...Break the law at your own discretion.

That's a bad reference cause everyone speeds, yeah 63 in 55 in California is speeding, so everyone should smoke weed to then lolHiramKingWilliams Thanks this.
