Should you tell your company recruiter everything?

If you can pass a drug test then the answer you should give the recruiter is "no". Remember, recruiters lie so its only fair that you can lie too.

 

Are you planning to attend a private cdl school or trucking company school?

 

Find one that doesn't do hair follicle test. If you go to private or community college school, then hire on with a company that does the urine test only. Some of those don't require another physical either, just a urine test and then hit the road with a trainer.
Which state do you live in?
Be careful on the phone calls. Not too long ago a driver posted he called a company and asked about hair follicle test and the person he talked to said, "I'm putting your phone call information in our database, so if you call again we know you've asked about a drug test."

Some companies tell you they do hair follicles tests even though they don't. I didn't have anything to worry about, but CRST told me I'd get a hair follicle and urine test. I'm assuming they do this to scare away the ones that may not pass.
