showering on the road

After about a month I find that the dirt builds up so thick that I can just break it and peel it off in big chunks and low and behold, clean as a whistle underneath. Also I noticed that some women like the smell of a real man.

 

What kind of woman are you hanging around.??....

 

I figure you're joking. Unfortunately I had a driver standing about 5 feet in back of me one time that smelled so bad I whiffed his stench before I knew anyone was back there. I guessed he had gone about a month without seeing water. I felt disgusted for about an hour after that. Hopefully that was not you. If it was, well, please don't go out in public because you are disgusting.

 

You ever get the ones that have the essence of human DO DO...

 

Just kidding. Actually, I shower on a daily basis even when I'm on the road.
I did, however, know a driver that actually was like that. He's no longer around as he passed away about five years ago, probably smells better now than when he was alive. Knew him for 20 years and only once saw him clean, that was in 1986.

 

Ah, yeah, unfortunately. I've come across a few like that. Ripe seats. Very disgusting. But to top that, I was a terminal one time and there was a chick in there that had her butt stinking... I'm not kidding when I say she fouled up the entire drivers lounge and I literally couldn't sit in there because I was about to barf. She looked about as bad as she stank as well. Yuck!

I wish I had the luxury of daily showers. I consider I'm doing great if I can shower every other day! Then I'm doing GREAT! LOL

I had a dedicated run one time where there were no truck stops to get my free shower. I did what I needed to do to stay clean for 14 days. It was summer. I took jugs of water with me into the nearest secluded woods and even used shampoo and soap. Showers are over glorified... ha ha!

 

ROLMAO...Yea,some of the woman out here...YUK YUK and NASTY NASTY.

 

She also offered the male drivers a little release on the side... she was earning a little extra by providing services. She was so nasty that even if she paid me I wouldn't have touched her with a 6 foot pole. She thought she was sexy, that was the funny part. Kept talking about her "baby daddy" and how other drivers are always hitting on her. She asked me if I could help her grab something heavy out of her truck while it was in the shop. I hesitantly climbed in. All I remember is clutter, clutter everywhere. And mixed in with all the clutter were cigarette butts everywhere. And they say crack ho's are nasty. They've got nothing on this driver... although she finally did shower and by the next morning she was actually wearing clean clothes and didn't stink. But she had no shame the night before, none at all.

 

I couldn't count on two hands the times I haven't showered EVERY day while being out on the road... Some of you guys who use the excuse that you don't have a shower credit are unreal... Your that cheap that you cant pay between $ 5-10 to get your self clean and feel refreshed? And like someone else said you can jump and the CB and get someone to give you a shower credit or do a team shower for free... No excuses

 

There are times I get stuck overnight at a shipper, so it's wipes, and a shower next time I fuel, which is very often since I have a 587 and 60 gallon tanks. I nearly fuel daily and won't pass up a restroom or a shower!
