Some pilots will drop in 3 days. I have fueled on the way home on a thursday. Left home on Sunday. Showered at home before I left. Arrived at the cons. Unloaded, went and loaded and shut down mon to shower and found my shower expired. Most of the time I burn my showers up on the road. It is when I come home and don't shower when I fuel 100 miles from home. By the time I roll out over the weekend they are gone.![]()

It might be a franchisee. according to their web site, Pilot drops off after 5 days. Flying J and TA are a week
-
It is 5 days, but according to one Pilot employee the day you get the shower credit counts as the 1st day. In Notarps example of filling up on Thursdays, that would make Friday day two, Saturday 3, Sunday 4, and Monday 5. Assuming he stopped for a shower at a later hour in the day on Monday than when he got fuel on Thursday, the shower would have dropped off by then.

that makes a twisted kind of sense

was told that truck-stops charge as much as $10.00 for taking a shower and thought that sounded high, especially doing it 20-30 times a month ,is that true?
-
Yes, most truck stops do, but you can get them free with a 50 gallon fuel purchase at most truck stops. You can also get their 'reward cards' which build up points which you can put towards purchases.
hxred81 Thanks this. -
Yup, nothing is free in this world
-
Just a QC message this week that Swift no longer reimburses for showers either...

i think i've only paid for a shower 3 times. you get them free when you get fuel. even if you do pay, it's another tax deduction.
hxred81 Thanks this.
