Nice looking ride. Couple of questions, how is it towing, seeing good MPGs? Did you splurge fort the 6.7L HO or the regular 6.7? Is it the 60" CA or 80" CA? Also, are you keeping busy with loads? I am thinking about possibly getting a similar set up to yours.

It's a monster towing wise, and I tow around 35k regularly. I average about 8.5 mpg loaded depending on terrain, or 40 cents per mile with $3 a gallon diesel.
As far as I know the chassis cabs dont get the HO engine so they last longer. I think it's the 80 CA.
There are loads, not all pay well. You need to figure out a route. Gotta learn what area pays. Some places you will get close to 3 dollars a mile just to get stuck for 1.5 trying to get out.
It's slow right now, gotta have enough money on the side for these slow times just incase something goes wrong.
I might be interested in selling my whole setup just to go with something bigger if the price is right. My trailer was just posted for sale today in the classifieds section. -
Seven months and you're selling everything? Bigger is not always better. Bigger trucks sometimes means bigger bucks. Good luck on which ever way you go. This is my set up. Trailers out and cars or whatever back. I've been doing this for 4 years, and found out that it is pretty hard to make decent money just hauling vehicles only.
See Ya.Lite bug and 24kHotshot Thank this. -
I'm not going anywhere, I am earning well and i love the job. Can't see myself doing anything else. -

How does the smart high beams work out? The 63 Imperial had something like that. Unhooked it because of dimming lights for road sign reflections and such.
