Heh,I had a brake can bust on my drive wheels a while back crossing a bridge.
That wasn't fun but I managed to get across the bridge and onto the shoulder of the road before it locked up completely.

If it leaks air from the parking release to the other side, it can lock all the chambers fully deployed, I had that happen to a trailer I was pulling, and there were no detectable leaks except from the discharge fitting behind the tank on that trailer. Replacement took about 45 minutes to an hour after road service got there. It was pretty much a right now deal, when the brakes locked up.

Doesn't take them too long but I was done with my last load for the week and on my way home just 9 miles from the yard so they towed me in and I went home.

I roll with my driver's window down, even if it's just an inch or two in wintertime.
Allows you to hear things better, that you may not hear otherwise.
Not a guarantee, especially for sounds way behind you, like trailer's rear.

Main thing is to always check your air gauges regularly. Why wait for the bells & whistles at ~55-60 psi, when you can know something's wrong at ~85 psi.

It's just another way of expressing the number 52, from a confused older gentleman telling his wife about my wife who was 52 at the time, but saying he thought she was 25 or maybe younger, it struck me as funny at the time, and we are the same age.

    No longer 52, either.

Pancake gaskets and brake chambers fail, and don't show up on a pretrip unless they have already failed.
