Shut off your truck if your delivering in New York City!

While there's no point in unnecessary idling.. I'd love to follow this fellow around to document his indiscretions.

 

Anybody that goes into ny city for anything
Less than 500 bucks on top of there normal
Pay deserves to get screwed every way they can.
That's my 2 cents.
And don't even want the 500 bucks to
Put up with the headache.

 

Maybe it should be 15 minutes. What about warm up, does that count?

 

Just shut off the engine when you hit the city limits. As far in as you can coast is where the load gets delivered.

P.S. I predict that at some point, people videoing idling vehicles to turn them in for money is going to end in tears for someone. What a stupid idea.

 

Imsurprised some of thise crazy ####s in ny hasnt beat this guy up yet, hes definayly,gonna snitch on the wrong person 1 time and end up taking a dirt nap

 

People in the northeast are a bunch of rats. Im not suprised they go crying to the police over idling. They call the police on everything. Crazy ####ers

 

you also get a bounty for turning in a truck for idling. really.

 

First off, just because it's a law does not make it enforceable. I was in traffic on 42nd street last Saturday night right next to the police station. 30 cop cars parked and here my truck starts to regen. White smoke all down the street. People walking by staring at my truck. I'm praying for a darn green light already.... This guy on a bike stops next to me and points to the back of my cab, I just nod and give him the thumbs up.

I don't make 200 sometimes to go into the city. It's just part of the job. Can't be a scardy cat all your life. Well I guess you can if you live in the burbs and don't go near local roads.
