Shutting the truck off but still logging drive time

    What? I install and set up Omintracs just about every day. When you stop the truck, the OT unit begins a 5 minute "count-down." If, after 5 minutes, you have not pushed with your finder the "On-Duty" (line 4) status, then it will ask you if you want it to change to line 4. If you ignore that question, it will change to line 4 on its own. So that is a max total of 6 minutes after the vehicle stops rolling that an Omnitracs IVG model can possibly stay in the drive line after the vehicle stops rolling.

    If the driver waits for the vehicle to come to a complete stop, then presses On-Duty (line 4) it will instantly go to that line and stop your driving clock.

    If yours is not working this way then someone either at your company admin side or the OT side has a setting wrong. What is the model you are running? (IVG, or MCP, or XRS?)
