IF that ever happens to me, I will beat his door right off the hinges.

Luckily, I rarely spend more than 30 minutes at a truck stop. Mostly, I sleep at the shipper or receiver. Rest areas are my next choice. My third choice would be a Wal-Mart, Menards or Fleet Farm/Farm & Fleet type retail parking lot.

One night, I was 15 minutes away from a shipper, but was already parked at a truck stop to get something to eat. I decided to just stay there. That will never happen again. I was just about to fall asleep. A truck backed in next to me and set his brakes. He then bangs around for 3 more hours, rolls back his tarp system and messes with his securement of copper pipes.

Truck stops are my last option

You park in nice quiet vacant industrial areas without witnesses around, in WEST MEMPHIS, AR? And think you are safe?!Must not be too keen on West Memphis yet. West Memphis, on a per capita basis, has one of the highest murder rates in the country! You aren't safe in West Memphis; you are just lucky.

I just got woke up by some Casey Kasem wanna be blaring music over the CB radio that I mistakenly left on when I went to bed.

This mental midget is still at it, I have taken a couple of stroll's through the parking lot looking to see if I can locate him. If I can there is going to be a great video of me confronting him.

So instead of just turning off your CB and going back to sleep, you went out looking?

    Lol really??

I.lived there for 6 years and im still alive. No its not a utopia but its not that bad. Yes there are drug dealers and lizards on the cb and in the truck stops. But Memphis is 8miles away. Between the two cities what would you expect? If the drivers would quit buying drugs and tail they would go away. No customers means no profit. So its the drivers fault as much as anyone elses.

When I was 5 my dad was stationed in Italy. We were driving along a nude beach and got rear ended by a carload of Privates paying too much attention to the beach.

You can imagine how deep their hearts sunk when my dad got out in and they saw he was a Major.

It was a slight bump and did no damage but my dad still put the fear of God in them.

Check neighborhoodscout website. For West Memphis crime stats, you have a 1:40 chance of being a victim of violent crim. In the whole state of AR, you have only a 1:213.For property crime, 1:11 W. Memphis vs 1:27 statewide.Your individual case "analysis" does not make a reliable broad statistic!West Memphis IS a dangerous town.
