Graduated in march work local for a bit nothing verifiable.
I like roehl and schneider. They both have 3 weeks of training and people say they are some of the better companies to start with.
My experience with Schneider I applied for a job in my area they do not use the one size fits all intellapp, called a recruiter set up a interview at 11 a.m fourth of July which the interviewer never got the memo reschedule for 4 pm fourth of July never got a call. I called them back emailed them he called me back the 5th early morning we did the interview. Did my physical in my area which was convenient then they set you up for a group call to answer any question in your class regarding orientation with your class mates guess what I never received a call for that either... so I am working my but off to get this job doing the recruiters job.
With roehl everything is set up. I don't know if I should continue to try with Schneider.

Not my experience with Schneider. Practically hired me over the phone. If you have a pulse and a class A lic. Your good to go. Meat in a seat! And you will feel like a piece of meat. Lol...
okiedokie, Moving Forward and browndawg Thank this. -
Of the dozens of companies that hire new CDL graduates, what are the determining factors that narrowed them down to Schneider or Roehl.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
They and roehl have had me jump through hoops. Roehl has had me get medically cleared it just really old running low on funds thinking I am going to orientation this week then no call or email sent to me. Can I request another recruiter?

Edit : Put your location on your profile & post what type of trucking you're most interested in. -
I agree with Chinatown....put in more applications.

Recruiters are one step above used car salespeople. I cannot fathom believing one in regards to a career decision.

Trucking is like a box of chocolates, except you can tell a box of chocolates isn't empty.

Part of the learning process of being new drivers is learning to sort the real info (truth) from the BS. It is not a 6 week learning period. It may take years.
Many Recruiters will cut off a finger before they tell the truth about some things with the company. Some have jobs threatened if they tell a potential driver the truth about some things. Not all but some with shady reputations. -
