Yes you will need a Class A CDL
-
Yea, I know 3 car Kaufman trailer is over 10k gvw so that means you have to have a cdl-a
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Crap, i thought i could get away with it.
Thanks LGarrison, and Ridgeline -
And insurance and dot #, etc. Part time car hauling legally is not the financially advisable.

My brother pulled a three car with a dodge 3500 without a cdl . If the combined gvw is under 26000 you are good to go. He actually went out and bought a truck that had a lower gvw so it would work out that way

Do not ask legal question on here if you want one answer. Call your local DPS office and get it from the people who write the tickets.

And all of that work time is "legally" part of your 70 hour work week.
Even if you put in 10hrs running the register at a produce stand.
Technicalities. Big Brother.
