1st two are temporary signs and surely supersed the third which is permanent if I had to guess.

The left lane requirement is usually where there has been a lane shift and the former shoulder is now the right lane . The shoulder was not built to withstand constant heavy trucks . Many drivers will drive in the left lane in these circumstances with or without the signs .

    Not just them.

Get passed by many trucks running in the right lane speeding.

Yeah I had a stop sign on I-40 weight station had a stop sign and then underneath had a sign that said 'stop until scales are clear', it was empty so I creeped on in and got my head bit off by my trainer. Lesson learned.

sign #3 is the one that most of the mega carrier drivers and those trainer by them, ignore on a regular basis.

there is no small print that says," unless going the speed limit"

    WHY ????!!!!!! :biggrin_25516:

never had a trainer, self taught, yrs ago.

so I don't know how you guys are taught now. if at all

What, do you need a sign to tell you how to do everything? THINK.

If you're traveling at the speed limit, then you cannot be slower traffic unless another vehicle is traveling above the posted speed limit. A lane change is arguably the most unsafe legal action taken by CDL drivers. If I'm traveling at the posted speed limit in a lane that's legal for me to travel in, then I'm not going to compromise safety by changing lanes to accommodate illegal traffic.
