Haha are you serious right now?

 

I missed going to church this Sunday because my elog said I was too tired to continue the remaining 30 minutes to get there. I would have been there but the people loading my truck were so kind as to keep me there extra long because my time is worth nothing to them. Does this mean I am going to Hell now?

 

Does this mean after all the other people we have to answer to, now there will be a JDOT? I saw in a movie called history of the world part one where Moses had fifteen commandments but dropped five of them, they must have been the ones with the commandments on interstate trucking.

And as far as I know, this part of the petition is false:

"These devices will only serve to force small trucking companies and independent truck drivers to close". From what I've read, the EOBR mandate would be for trucking companies with 25 trucks or more. Not exactly a "small" trucking company, and definitely not "independent truck drivers".

I would sign it IF, and only IF, someone could prove that "independent truck drivers" were forced to go EOBR.

Although I do agree with some that say; "signing the petition is a waist of time", I just can not do ALL I CAN to get their attention. I talk with my Gov., Senator and Congressman, not to mention my state reps as well. If 12 million illegals can get the Politicians to take notice, well, why can't we? I will tell you why, because of attitudes like the ones I mentioned on the first line. My best friend has the same attitude and I just don't get it. It used to be, if you fought hard enough, you could get Politicians to listen. Now the majority just want to sit and do nothing but say nothing can be done or, complain about Americans standing up for the Constitution of These United States.... I don't even have a problem with two different sides but, has anyone noticed those that seem to want to bring the Country to ruins, do the most talking?

I am happy that some of you can use the EOBR's and make money, fantastic! I can too but, it isn't about that, not at all. It's the fact that the Politicians insist, simply to line their own pockets or, get the votes, or simply to leave their name on something, that these things save lives. I believe just the opposite is true and, that doesn't mean I feel that everyone that uses EOBR's are more dangerous than those that don't. I know when I used them, I felt I had to work harder to stay compliant, than I did with paper-logs, not to mention I was harassed, and you can read all my posts on this forum, you will never see anything about me advocating cheating of any kind.

Please drivers, please stop bickering about whether EOBR's work or don't work, that is not the issue at all. Please try to remember that each and every driver's situation is different than the next. God bless...
