you will be on the call list, U will be asked to haul the loads no one else wants at first.

They are going to email you a contract and you sign it ,wait 1 or 2 days, they will give you a t number ,broker will always ask for tnumber to give you the rate, when you just started with them, they won,t give you the rate u want until about 100 loads.do not book a load and cancel, they always keep track of your t.they will rate your carrier,if u do good job,u will ask for your rate and they will give it to u.good lucks,

It should take a day or two but after that they will give you the "T" number and you will have access to look at the loads online - They may try and hold the line a little more since you just got registered but just know what you need to run and pull the trigger quick b/c they're is likely someone on the line behind you perhaps needing a load worse than you do!

.....I have different experience with CH ROBINSON, once I was booking a load to Seattle, 22000 lbs, when I got the rate confirmation, it turns out the load is 45000 lbs, I cancel the load. Next day I book a load from them to Texas for nearly $1.9 per mile, which is very unusual, most of their loads are $1.20 - 1.40 per mile. The conclusion is if they are in a hurry - the are willing to pay more....

Good ol' C.H. "highway robbers". Your setting yourself up for a screwing because they love to play that game and so does TQL. It's rare if ever at all you'll get truth out of them. Good luck.

I believe this is completely false info and you have no idea how to run your business properly. If I get screwed then the only person doing the screwing is myself for either not educating myself properly or or not doing my own due dilligence. An O/O will only get screwed if he allows himself to. I have learned to take responsibility for my own actions and will not blame the broker for accepting a load that doesnt pay enough, thats called learning from your mistakes.

Sounds like you have it all figured out. How from his statement do you know how he runs his business? I have had a T number from CHR for 3 years and find that they like to say the load weighs X when it actually weighs Y, or it loads\delivers in town X when it actually loads\delivers in town Y 30 miles from there. On the plus side they have lots of freight and they pay on time.
