I've been searching quite a few truckers job sites and am coming across ALOT of ads lately for working a Chicago 13 rail yard gig that delivers to IA Wis Ill IN MI OH and Northern KY ... They all have the same $ 2000 sign on bonus and promise 5 days out and 2 days off with annual pay of 55 to 75 thousand a year... The contact / recruiter names vary, Simba Seven , Zeno Dist. and J B Hunt ... Anybody follow through with these ads ? The pay seems way to high and no matter who is recruiting the ads pretty much are the same ... Beware a deal that seems to good in the internet age ? Any info would be appreciated ! Just don't want to give up private information that could be abused by scammers !!

They have the same ad on Craigslist here in SC. $46k-$50 running GA,SC,NC,TN and AL. I agree with Jaylynn, that is to much money running those areas. I may call them on Monday just to satisfy my curiosity. Will let you guys know what I find out. Same goes for anyone else that may call them.

I also found Zimbabwe Seven on craigs list but wasn't able to find ANYTHING on themother than job ads. Seems fishy. No reviews. No comments. No disgruntled former employees. NOTHING!

Simba Seven seems to be a recruiter for trucking jobs, not a carrier. Their web site refers to 7,500 "local, dedicated, and regional truck driving jobs from the country's top companies." You can check them out at simbaseven.com

Simbaseven is a company that recruits and hires drivers for various companies. Although they have many companies to place a driver with, they have a huge turnover rate as far as their driver agents. The pay for the drivers agents is strictly commission. So.they may get you placed into a position, but will continue to contact you to score another commission. It's all in how you look at it I suppose...if they can get you what need, that's awesome.

I've also seen their ads under this name and under the name "topgear logistics". Very high pay in their ads. I remember calling in response to a topgear logistics ad and the person I spoke to basically told me that they didn't actually have any of the many opportunities they actually advertised for in my area and then proceeded to try to convince me to go into a leasing contract with a company called tradewinds.

I didn't like that I was lured by false advertisements in the first place.

Then, I came here and did a search on tradewinds and saw all the horrible reviews and decided to look elsewhere.

Yes, unfortunately Simba Seven likes to post false advertisements to lure drivers into calling the lines when they really don't even have that position available or they will make you sell strictly OTR. The consultants make 500-600 per OTR hire the max is 700-900 periodically but other than that, yes, they post false ads to lure you to call them. One of my friends worked there and he told me they pretty much try to turn you to go OTR.
