Chevys are the only ones that last long enough to flatten out the seats! :biggrin_2559:

'yota taco if you can get a non rusting frame; though they did stand behind those without the NHTSA arm twisting for a decade....of course my Silverado Crew is in the date range for the just announced airbag recall...I think it has 6 of the durn things speaking of a decade of NHTSA arm twisting....

Probably that thick wallet. Switch side and see. Or, optionally spend three of the 100's to thin it.

I wish I had 3 benjamins in there! I carry a thin wallet and it sits high in my left pocket...that 'chevy' hole seems to be under the right hip...it was EZ back when it was an old S-10, a trip to Harry;s U pick it yielded a set of grand am seats, switch the tracks and bolt 'em in...$26.00 for the pair plus the fee to rent the wagon to bring them out...

My solution was based on me in an old L195 IH many years ago. Left cheek felt dead. Pay was $.05 per LOADED mile; so as you say, it was not excess money. Swapped side and it went away. Old binder seats
never sunk one sided, stayed hard all way across. LOL
