At the last place I worked, at least once per month I had to ‘rescue’ a driver that ran out of hours. Only one time did any of those drivers have the brains to pull into a truck stop, rest area, or parking lot. All others were on the shoulder of a highway. When asked, why did you do this? They all said ‘they wanted to keep heading to the yard, just trying to get as close as possible’.

It always used to be. Till recent years idiots crashing into parked trucks. Maybe I grew up in a different time.

I agree, but sometimes there are times where I can t whether its a truck passing me or car speeding up or won t let me over with blinker on at least a half a mile in advance or furtherTrucker61016 Thanks this.
