The laws of physics apply to any frequency and building a phasing harness would be the same regardless of frequency except cut to a different length depending on what frequency it's for. Two 1/2 wavelength cables with a 50 ohm antenna on either side would probably yield maybe 25 ohms to the transmitter hence the extra quarter wavelength of cable needed per side.

Remember antenna are like women with one you only have half of the problems

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

How does cut to length affect a set up when an antenna mount set up is on the back but radio is up front..
Gonna need 20 ft plus of coax per ant..

Because the feed Point impedance of the antenna does not match the characteristic impedance of the cable

You also won't have a radiation pattern like this one with a single element.

No i was thinkin seeing 15'4" is supposed to be the correct length based on that formula you gave me...Thats fine goin from dash to mirror but what if ant is mounted near the rear flairing and its needed say 25ft of coax....How does the formula still work but a hair under 10 ft longer??
Im just sorta planning incase i have to go to the rear mount with my new trk when it gets here..

Inches don't mean anything. It's all about the electrical length. Half wavelength repeats the feed Point impedance which doesn't do us any good if you are stacking two elements. 3 quarter wavelength transforms the impedance and that's what we are looking for if you are using multiple elements.

So 15 feet 4 inches(inches dont mean anything?)
Am i to assume that after all that tech stuff you nust threw up your saying 15 ft then 30 ft then 45 feet kinda deal??

Assumeing i went back of the cab on the next truck 1 ant on either side out back like we talked ages ago,i would need a 30 ft each side of a co phase coax to be where i need to be??

If thats not what you ment im just gon a say

    WHAT THE WHATTTTT??????? lol

It only means something if you convert it to electrical degrees
