Well I thought I'd share a discovery I made today - I just got a Sportster 5 and found that the jack labeled "Audio" on the dock that's used for auxiliary out, can also be used as an aux in - so you can plug your laptop or other mp3 player into it. If you're playing the radio out through FM, or with the FM direct adapter, and you plug an mp3 player into that jack, it just overrides the radio playing and plays your mp3s instead! Seems obvious now but there's no mention of it in the manual or on the website or anything I could find so I can see how someone might not even try it.
Anyway hope that helps someone who has one of these radios but also wants to play audio from another source through the FM transmitter.
