Is anyone using a smart phone to listen to Sirius rather then buying a reciever?

If you use this method do you use more then 5g of data per month?

Just curious which way I should go.

    Thanks

Personally, if I weren't going to use satellite radio for the satellites, I see no reason to pay $13/mo for it. There are a dozen or so music services available on smart phones these days that offer more features and cost less if that's the way you want to go. If you are constantly streaming higher quality music (which they all do otherwise why listen?) then I suspect you'd get awfully close to that 5GB limit, but I don't know that for a fact.

I have used a few music services in my time so far. I hate them all equally. There's usually one shortcoming that does it in, so I've rotated between them for some time.
Slacker (with a Slacker G2 personal radio unit)
    Rhapsody
Napster (the new legal BestBuy owned one)
XM (back in the day when it was super good)
Sirius (right before they bought XM)
    Zune
Shoutcast radio (I liked Digitally Imported, specifically)
    Amazon MP3
    Last.fm
Terrestrial Radio (does this even count?)

I'm rotating back to XM/Sirius now. I have an XMp3i in the mail ready to deliver Monday, so we'll see how long that lasts this time around. Like I said, I don't really have a favorite. They all do different things, so it depends on what you want from your music service. My mood changes all the time, so I never want the same thing from my music every day which is why I've used so many and used each off and on.

I will say this though: of all the services, I've used Rhapsody the least. I had a subscription for a record short time. I don't think I made it through a month before I signed up for Napster after I used Rhapsody, for what that's worth. Also, I suspect I've used extraterrestrial radio (I like calling satellite radio that. It sounds cool :) ) the most if you add up all the times I've been a subscriber. I usually unsubscribe because they do something dumb with the line up like removing cinemagic, but I always come back.

    I hope that helps!
