Here is some info you should consider before coming to work for SISBRO, Inc out of Quincy, IL.........
    1. If all you care about is getting home then this place is for you.... Usually pretty seamless in getting routed back to house with just maybe 1-3 times you have to remind them your desired time to get in.

    2. Equipment is old and nasty.

    3. Insurance for family is at no cost, however the benefit limits are low side with more than normal restricted coverage areas and they are very slow in claim processing. This benefit really doesn't come without a cost as your mileage pay is lower than the average out there.

    4. Miles on the van side are low. Hard to ever get over 2K per week.

    5. Waiting time is insane!! For instance, waiting pay for you does not start until after the 5th HOUR!! Then it is ONLY $8.75 PER HOUR!! We know this is a fact in trucking and we all know how much you are going to wait....

    6. They have these 2 new dispatchers that need to go back to work at Wendys.... And they would have to go thru 2 weeks training to be able to perform that job. Whoever trained them must have told them their job is to say whatever to get their loads covered - say anything truth or not. You may show up thinking you are on time and when you get there you are penalized because you are 3 HOURS LATE. You call these guys out and they state they will check it out .... So you wait..... And nothing is done. The customer is still p'd because you are late... you wait some more.

    7. Good luck for getting paid for waiting time - you may get it or not..... There will be several times you have to "remind" them you had hours to be paid and it may take weeks before you actually get paid.

    8. They do say it is "No force dispatch" but in reality there is no backup plan if you don't take what they want... you refuse (due to hours left to drive, etc) and you wait....

    9. Just like to end with there is a HUGE turn-over rate; mainly for the above reasons...

Sisbro is also owned by Jack Sharkey of Sharkey transport, also owns Core Carrier in Kansas city, YEs thier trucks are old junk they buy from other companies. At Core, you NEVER get anything no matter how many hours you wait to get loaded or unloaded. Also, no miles. This is a company that does not care about their drivers.

I am a driver for Sharkey and I stumbled on this post so I thought I would throw in my two cents. I've noticed that, out of the 600 drivers that work here, no one has posted anything. Must be because we are too busy working, spending time with our families, and spending all the money were making. LOL I've worked for Sharkey Transportation Inc for over 12 years. Most of the drivers around here have also worked here for just as long. The best way to hear about any job is to talk to the drivers that still currently work here. Not the guys who are negative nancys because they got fired for something or the guys who quit and Sharkey wont take them back. LOL Yea right, you should listen to those guys because they've got it all figured out! LMBO!!
    Look here are the facts:

    1. Insurance is Free for me and my whole family. I can't tell you how much money that saves me. Especially with 6 kids.

    2. I get to run how I want. I'm currently running Dedicated GM. (General Mills) I get home about twice during the week and off weekends. My miles are the same every week 2862. I can set my pay check to that. My gross is 1058.94 every week. Except for the winter, I don't hit my fuel bonus then. Then it drops down to 1001.70.

    3. There is NO BULL ####! I come to work, do my job, and go home. I don't need my dispatcher to hold my hand or be my friend.

    4. I really love my Compliance Bonus. As long as I don't get any log book violations, I get a $800 bonus every three months. I always hit that bonus to total $3400 for the year.

Those are the facts and I really don't give a #### about what any of you people say on here. Don't come to work here, I don't care!! Just more miles for me and my family.
