Sit low with a long shifter?

somebody made a conversion for 13's and 18's a while back where the second stick operated the splitter, the pic above ain't it though..

 

There are many different configurations/locations of twin sticks. Driving a 318 w/ a set of sticks in a logger wasn't that much fun at the end of the day.

Good lord, I want NONE of that. I'll stick with my 13/18 speeds.

 

I am very curious too. A lot of people do stupid things, some just want to look cool while doing it.

 

A Long shift handle in a tiny 379,s interior, makes no sense. If that,s what he likes, who cares. I drove 2 stick Mack,s the shift levers where much shorter, than the ones in the video. I took the splitter off the shifter,and made a braket, so now it,s on the dash. Now I can have my babydoll , put her painted toenails on the splitter, and where gone. Or my dog can handle the splitting duties. Who,s cooL now, you long shift handled goonies. haha

 

I have a 13 speed. Standard shifter. It slides in and out of gear with gentle strokes from the finger tips. When I grab the thing in the palm, It grinds. and I AM talking about my Truck! LOL I also have my seat about half way up. 6 foot tall, so being on the floor is to short for my legs but being all the way us is to tall for them.
