Sit low with a long shifter?

The reason for the tall shifter is an easy one, so when he goes by you, you can see him reachin and gettin em.

 

the one otr truck my boss has was a w900 with a high shifter i liked it for some reason aand i put the seat down im only 5'10 but i like running with the seats down as its comfortable and like others said if u watch your surrounding it doesn't matter also when i stop behind a car i stop when i see the back bumper or maybe a little closer just so i can creep little when it turn green. i like sitting low for the ride and the long shifter was just a added touch to it that made it feel more right

 

I like ape hangers have 18" on one of my bikes ,,, not sure about the tall shifter tho...

I will simply ask Why??? Just as I tell my people all the time, why make the job harder than it is?

 

Isn't that just an Eaton 18 speed that he converted to manual shift from air shift for the range shift and splitter? A case of it can be done but why?
