It is. Because he looks cool doing it...Gosh don't you two know what trucking is about? 50% being cool, 30% complaining, and 20% driving

I guess I missed that part, I had enough of that crap on the farm with the triplex Mack dump we had, about broke my arm one day reaching thru the steering wheel to change the box and hit a rut in the field, next day the torch came out and I heated the levers until I could get them with one hand, I think I was about 15.

It seems very dangerous. If you watch the video he moves his wrist like it's hurting every time he puts his hands back on the wheel

Hands off the wheel 1/2 the time............... is really really cool? Or is the guy comparing wee wee's with other drivers?

It's called douche-baggery. A lot of dimwits are doing it. We have a guy that did it to his Volvo. Talk about out of place. It looks silly enough in a Peterbilt, way beyond silly in a Volvo.

I've watched that video before. The one with the skull on it appears to be the range selector and the stick on the far left is his splitter. You can see he only moves one back and forth. If it's the air kit like 4 States sells he could be preselecting his splits, but that would take away from the coolness of no hands on the wheel.

When those guys get older and start having back issues because they didn't take advantage of the air ride seat, they may decide that sitting on the floor and letting their body absorb all the road shock and vibration may not have been so COOL after all.

    It would be cooler if he installed a bona-fide Spicer 5 x 4 or 6 x 4 twin stick. ;)

Dont be hating cause your driving a slow freightliner, volvo or prostar with a mega although i think the shifter extension is gay I'd take it over a aero truck anyday and havent had air in my seat in 20 years and ain't planning to start.
