@Numb , reply to one of the threads you're getting email on, and see if it shows the email box checked under the 'more options' button

@Admin , there's a default somewhere to turn them all off, I just can't find it again. I'm not getting any, just like it was on vB

EDIT: Click your username top right of screen, preferences, and it's right at the top

yeah that fairly well sucks. gonna be a lot of replying to a lot of threads just to turn off the email alerts. that was for sure something that was fixed that wasn't broken to start with

Well I like the format so far.. Seems to be more user friendly... Other then what has been mentioned before about everything bleeding together I think it's a good change... Every new change takes time to get used to.. It's like anything else in life.. Before generally don't like change, until they get used to it.. Then the number of people who didn't like the change start dropping like flies..

Even while posting this, I got a message saying new post have been posted since I last loaded the page.. I think that's cool feature.. I haven't been in and around the board yet but so far I like what I see...

I just checked this on my phone (Note 4) and I like this version on my phone better then the last version..

I would like to thank all the admins who worked on this change.. I know this is a BIG task and appreciate the time you took out of your personal lives to bring us a new change... Considering this is free and no one is forced to be here I think we all have to accept the change or just leave haha... I for one like the change and besides I am not here for the how the forum looks or runs.... I am here for the information, the pictures and the "family" of fellow truckers, we may not be appreciated out on the road but being on here most people get along and how many other profession can you say have a forum available to the job they do.. I bet you not many :)

    Good Job Guys/Gals...

OK, just to be clear, as your 2 links didn't point to this specific page (preferences, as shown below), did you uncheck "and receive email notifications of replies" first, before saving?

    Just trying all possibilities here.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but you don't have to reply to a thread to turn off the email alerts. Just go to the top of the thread and click 'Unwatch.' If you want to find the threads that you're currently Watching, go to Alerts, Watched Threads, "There May Be More to View." there's 138 posts in this thread.

that's alot of emails to delete.

I'm not who needs to ,know all about all, on a second to second basis.

it was easy in the other format, just go notifications and check all of them in place when my secession was finished.

I also don't check my email on a regular basis.

when I'm out on the road,I don't connect at all. amazing ,huh?
