If you highlight the post, and hit the delete or back button, it should remove it from your reply area.

A couple of things I've noticed:
When I'm on my tablet and want to insert a smiley, rather than it going to where I place the cursor, it shows up at the beginning of the post. As it has here.
The other thing is that when I try to hit the arrow button on a quote, so I can see the original post, it does nothing. Haven't noticed either of these problems on my PC though. -

OK, thanks for trying. It may be a glitch in my tablet. I remember even on the old forum, I'd click on a subscribed post, trying to get to the first unread post, and it would just take me to the first thread in the post. It isn't the best of tablets in the world. . .
