Where are you sitting at?Sometimes you end up where there is little freight going out.I take decent paying loads to South Dakota,North Dakota,Idaho,sometimes get a load out but I usaully just deadhead out for another load.
Some places have too many trucks in the area so not much left over to get,if they are picking loads off the board for you.
I wouldn't sit anywhere for 4 days,but I'm an O/O,unless I'm sitting at the house in Houston.Bean Jr. and nextgentrucker Thank this. -

Yes Sir, thank you for your service. You can try switching dispatchers but in this down market even that is risky.. Your best bet is to switch companies. Marten is a good company if they'll take you..I think last time I checked they required 6 months, they are a decent company, one of the best megas which is good for you as it gives you options in different divisions(OTR, Regional, Dedicated, some local)..
