I agree with Dave.....try to stick it out your first year. You started in January so yoi don't have longer to go. Either it gets better where you are after a year, or if you choose to move on, the options open up a little more. Its usually pretty rough the first year. Its going to be up and down, especially with a mega.

You have 6 months in. That's not so bad. In other words. That's the first-time period where better jobs become available. I look at indeed. Type in cdl A. Near where you live. On boarding takes 2 weeks to 2 months. After a year you will have a bunch of options.Last edited: Aug 6, 2025

I'm spoiled doing tanker. Shorter, lower, and no sliding tandems. Just put up with slosh, which is no big deallual, Chinatown, nextgentrucker and 1 other person Thank this.

Im going other direction. If you jump ship. Just stay at that company for 6 months.
