check out Millis I have a friend thats really reseached them, check out the millis thread , no per diem.

 

Run home, unload and then go drop of the truck.

 

Its not like they can trash your DAC for going home, abandoning the truck, etc. If they did put something you could just validate it and they dont exist here real soon. I'd take the truck home and tell them to come get it unless you live real close to joplin and can have someone come get you.

 

What a shame. I drove for sitton for three years and never had any complaints. A decent outfit IMO. This is just a sign of the times.

 

If we keep electing the same people to office it's only going to get worse.

 

You got a choice between coke and pepsi come election time. Politicians come and politicians go. A bad economy is no excuse. Poor management is why Sitton and others are going under.

 

well i had to do some fast thinking so I start with Conway tomorrow and I dont have to ride the bus or ship my stuff home...whew boy I almost let them put me in a huge bind but thats trucking companies for ya.

 

and no i dont live near Joplin....I live in Macon, Ga so that wouldve been rough and I was in California when all this took place...had a load getting me close to georgia but they relayed me with a load to Michigan and gave my load to a guy who lived in Texas...sheesh

That's what i'm saying. What are they going to do? Fire you? Not fuel the truck to get it back to joplin? I doubt it.
