I seen there web site but its pretty much plain.

Do they have a pet policy?
DO they use a fuel soultion to determine the route for drivers?
What is the speed of their trucks?
    Do you need HAZ MAt?
    Any help would be helpful!
    Thanks

I drove for SML for several years. OUTSTANDING Company. No Hazmat. Preplanned loads, a lot of drop and hook, very little to no touch freight. Pet policy- no pets in company trucks, but you can drive an O/O truck if you want to bring your pets. They pay based on practical miles, (the shortest route) but you take whatever route suits you. Never had a problem getting miles, actually it was the other way around. I had trouble getting enough time to rest and catch up on laundry etc. As far as speed is concerned; don't get in any hurry, you are only going to go 64mph; so get in the granny lane, kick back, turn the cb off and the stereo up and enjoy the ride; cause it doesn't get any better than this. AWESOME company to work for, if you can meet the qualifications. (they are a bit tougher to get on with than most, and with good reasoning) I will say; they are not the top paying company in the industry, but the way they treat the driver definately makes up the difference. (Happiness is more important than dollars)

I met a former driver of this co. today.

She couldn't say enough good things about them.

    Any current info?

Just checked, they are out of business 11/09.

Um...you live in Fargo...which is way out of Sitton's comfort zone for freight. It had nothing to do with your experience, but rather your locale. Their recruiters had specific states that they recruited out of.
