Over the winter I rented a truck to upgrade from a Class B to an A. I failed twice in a day, the first on the right turn and the second on the alley dock. The pressure got to me. I am a very competent driver, just sucked at the test. Anyways, I work for a county agency as a seasonal and am back at work and will be doing my 3rd attempt next Monday. I have already passed the pre-trip, which is good for 1 year.
My question: I will be using a county vehicle with "M" plates but I have a concern about the trailer. It meets the weight requirements however a couple tires are pretty worn and borderline bald. The truck, a nearly brand new International dump is mint. Will they look close at the tires or should I try to get another trailer from a different division/department?
Thanks for any help.

ahhhhhhh why would you wanna go yo the DMV and give them a reason to fail u
it is whymost of us dont sleep at the coops we like staying away from possibilities
of course the county should put a couple tires on a good truckjegolopolli Thanks this. -
The second attempt I did with a different instructor he just did a brake light, signal and horn test before the skills test as well as checked the GVWR on the truck and trailer. I figured they would do that again, but not a full pre trip since I already passed that portion of the test. -
A sharp inspector will notice the bald tires, a typical " where's my paycheck and benefits" guy will not or for that matter, even care.

The state examiner that came to my school gave the school a reprimand for having an error on the trailer registration and was not going to allow it to be used for the testing!
But the school produced the application papers and proved it was an error on the DMV's side.

I am going to be using another trailer.
Hopefully I pass this time.
I did a short session with the guy who does the cdl training from permit to license. He had me do the maneuvers I had problems with the last time and said I was doing everything perfect and should have no problems passing. As long as my nerves dont get me to I should be fine.
