I welded c-channel pads on the wheels years ago. Gives it a little more lift for tall rubber. It can’t roll easy and if it did it would not go any further then the pads rotating around and stopping when they hit the stalk.

I always kept a couple wood blocks for behind the tires, or almost back under, attach the service line, pull the Johhny bar, then back under.

They have ancient SealCo A-1 safety valves between the air tank and chambers. When trailer supply valve is popped out or disconected it holds air between it and chambers clamping down the brakes like springs would for emergency. About 90 psi. It is great for parking too. With my OCD I have managed to get them leak free enough to hold air for a few months and rarely drop down below 40 psi holding the brakes firmly all that time. Knock on wood.201 Thanks this.

@Happily Retired. Got a ? For you on a slightly different note. Did your 359 have the push to park, pull to drive Sealco style valve? Some came with metal Sealco tag or Peterbilt logo tag and with chrome knobs. Both my ‘67 351 and the ‘69 351 and ‘71 359 my uncle sold do. Our ‘73 352 coe has newer style in it.
I’m just trying to figure whereabouts the change happened.
Sealco still sells the old valves and a few years ago they were coming out of Italy. Midland also makes one but it is in their usual cheap plastic.201 Thanks this. -
Ha! It did! It was a "push to park" T handle, never saw'r another like it. The red trailer valve looked like it was added off to the side too.SmallPackage Thanks this.
