One of the doctors told me not to do weight lifting because it will build my neck size up. He stated that the power lifters are a good fit for sleep apnea but the question is do they have to take the test?

Wish $800 was all it was for me. I paid more than that out of pocket.

My Doctor arranged to have the sleep study done at my house and save me about $700.00 They come to your house with the little machine and spend all the time you need to ensure that you understand how to use it. I even asked him about testing weight lifters and body builders. He said all that information is taken into consideration by the clinic.
You wear it for 2 nights and then they come and picks it up and delivers it to the Doctors at the clinic along with his notes. The results are mailed to your physician and you are advised of the results. Guess what? No sleep apthnia. Well within the normal ranges. My Doctor said that some of these Doctors working these clinics are not among the top 5, 10, 20 or 100 in their class.
I am seriously considering going back to that clinic and calling that female a quack in public while waving the results in her bloated face.popcorn169 Thanks this. -
Glad it worked out for you and as I stated before it is a money racket.
