Looks like my wife decided to share her cold with me. Twas hoping I wouldn't face that challenge so quickly. Yuck.

My old man drives Class A CDL and he has Sleep Apnea and a CPap Machine. He just can't wear that thing. So I did some research online. They have a new thing called Provent, just some tabs you stick on your nose. I wonder if that would be acceptable treatment for Sleep Apnea with DOT?

It's been 6 months since I started using my cpap. So this is my 6 month review. I have adjusted well. I got mine for free thru the VA. I had the soft seal go bad a couple weeks ago. I went back to the VA to get a new seal and instead they handed me a whole new mask. They give a new mask every 6 months. The 4 things I've noticed. 1) I dream ALL the time now. I used to rarely remember dreaming. 2) I don't flop like a fish any more. 3) I'm out cold in just minutes after laying down. 4) If I attempt to nap at a customer without putting the cpap on I'm restless.

Xlsdraw, happy to hear that proceeding after diagnosis is going well. The Dynamic Duo was concerned about your safety.

Same with me. I've been on CPAP since 1998. If I take a nap without it, I'm awake in 30-45 minutes.

Collect a few masks and it will make it easier out on the road. I have 4 and wash them all at once at home before going out. Its nice to have a clean mask every night without needing to find a way to clean them with wipes or drag it into the shower with me.
