From what ive heard the sleep study results are good for 5 years but the fact you have one i think they need at least a month of recent activity from your machine. Just my opinion though im probably wrong :D

I have it to, and while carrying a few extra pounds... not what most would say is fat, has more to do with the anatomy of your throat than anything...

But to your question, untreated apnea is a disqualifying disorder in the same sense that untreated high blood pressure is a disqualifying conditon... bp is treated with medication, apnea with the cpap.

The only thing you may need is a new machine unless yours has one of those sd card slots so the usage can be checked for compliance. Have to use it 4hrs a night.

Some companies dont even check. When I was in school I was afraid of not getting hired because I am over weight. But it nver been an issue and the company that hired me didnt even ask for me to have a sleep test.

I just learned a valuable lesson while getting my physical; Dont be honest! if you are not over 35% bmi, or have a 17 inch neck, they wont even question if you have sleep apnea. I made the mistake telling them i was on hydrocodone 2 months ago, now i have to get the va, to sign off and say i dont need them. OH and if you need the VA to sign off on something such as any medical you have had done through them, they dont fax, they snail mail, and we all know how long it takes to get an appt.

I have apnea. Just need to provide them a readout that needs to be fairly current and goes back 30 days. They want to see at least 4 hrs usage a night at least 75% of the month. You will only get a one year card but otherwise no issues

Fall asleep at the wheel, kill somebody and lt them find out you lied about the apnea.
I'm sure that will work out well for you.
