Sleeper A/C hacks. With no idle becoming real.

I spent a grand for the box from American truck boxes. I had specific dimensions. Another $325 for the drawer slide from Fast farm.

 

I paid $500 for a custom box to fit behind the side skirt. Fill venting and cutouts to do most minor maintenance. $200 for frame hanger (rated for 400lb)

 

Most trucks have 2ft of frame rail space.. apu's require 2ft of frame room to mount also.

Also catwalk mount is always a option

Roof support plate mock-up. Since the A/C unit was low profile (wider and longer) I had to add a tail piece to support the overhang.
