16:45 driving
18:15 off duty
18:45 on duty
19:00 driving

21:30 driving
21:45 Sleeper Berth
04/14/11
06:30 On Duty (Pre trip Insp)
07:00 Driving
07:30 On Duty
07:45 Off Duty
Now my question is if I take the 2 hr break does it re-start my 14hr clock or is it at the end of the 9 hr Sleeper berth time I had????

A new 14 hour period started at 06:30 when you went on duty today. Your 14 is up at 20:30
-
...And you had 8.75 in the sleeper, not nine.
Roby Thanks this. -

So but I do need to take the 2hrs yet right?
-
Yep just make sure that you log 8 consecutive hours sleeper berth during that 21:45-06:30 break. Off Duty doesn't work for the 8 hour break but is ok for the 2.
-
yes it was consecutive 8 and actually they took 2hrs to unload the truck, thank you so much guys I really appreciate your help!!!!

There is no requirement to take a 2 hour break. You can take nothing but 8 hour breaks if you like. However, you'll only be able to drive for 11 minus whatever time you drove prior to your last break. A ten hour break will allow you to drive a full 11.
