I've been reading about an led replacement for the florescent light assembly in the sleeper but have been unable to find it. Anyone have any ideas on where to find it?

Are they the ones that plug right in to the factory harness or do they have to be wired in?

TRP makes an interior LED light for under $40. http://www.trpparts.com/Parts/Category/625/led-interior-lamps-utility-lamp.

They are smaller than the factory one. We cut the factory housings, basically gut everything except the edges that hold that factory lens on. Then mount them under the lens so it still looks nice. You can't get to the switch that way, but our trucks have the switch on the wall. Putting the lens over them dims them down a bit, but still brighter than the fluorescent ones at 1/4 of the cost. If you want them brighter, you can just mount them, but you have to make some kind of trim to cover the gaps if you want it to look nice.

I don't know the part #, if you're just looking to repair a non working light, Grote makes a florescent one that is the same dimensions for around $100. which is less that 1/2 the cost of a Pete one.

Bought my led one for my 2000 379 at the local KW dealership. I think it was right around $100, plug and play no hassle and last forever

That'd exactly what I'm looking for. Do you remember the part number by any chance? It's going in a 2001, do it should be the same as yours.
