I have a buddy with a 240" sleeper just his truck is over 40ft long I'd have to ask him what it really is my shop is 40ft long and couldn't shut the door
He said it slows him up on most scales in the south that do the truck and trailer at the same time but has never been introuble with it
sleeper size laws?

The 244" wheelbase limit applies to 53' trailers in Canada. If you have a 48' wagon, you can run a longer rig, also, car haulers and moving trucks are exempt. I think the over-all limit is around 70'. They have been doing a trial of 53' doubles on the interstates (400 series roads), so they might be slacking off the length rules soon hopefully!!

I have a 48' foot trailer and was still told 244" limit without a permit and only get a permit up to 280" wheelbase.
Maybe since I wouldn't fit on their scale, they don't know how to axle it out.

And like i said earlier my Dad does heavy haul, he has 300 wb with a 53ft RGN, he runs QC and Ontario and all of U.S. he doesnt go out western Canada so i cant vouch for that
