Sleeper Turbo Wing for W900, will it improve fuel mileage?

    Heavy spec W900 with a Cat. You don't buy a truck like that looking for fuel economy.

    You’d be better off finding a used factory fairing in a salvage yard versus the wing.

    On a w900 like yours with the raised bunk l don't think you'll see a significant gain. A wing should be a little better that the factory style duct bill/whale tail but at the end it'll come down to what you prefer looks wise.

    Or swap rear ends. I think he has 3.90 so going to 3.36 would make his Acert a lot happier.

    He had a whole thread a while ago about buying this heavy spec truck and swapping tires and such to get his 5th wheel height down to pull a dry van. If I recall he’s pretty gear bound and should be running about 60 to be where an Acert likes to be.
